
Walker Slater x The GlenDronach, Father’s Day
SPEY was asked to bring two brands together to create the perfect gift for Father’s Day. So we asked quintessential contemporary tweed tailors to join one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries in a creative collaboration marrying two of Scotland’s finest whisky and tweed connoisseurs.

WHAT WE DID
SPEY brought two icons of craftsmanship together to design a tweed-dressed hip-flask in a bespoke designed gift box. The deep russet colours of the bespoke tweed are inspired by the rich character of The GlenDronach’s award-winning 12 year old Single Malt, a bottle of which is included as part of a gift-set.
Working with a visual content specialist Jacqui Walker, also known as Teuchterlife, we created a suite of photography showcasing the product in the flagship store of Walker Slater in Covent Garden followed by an in-store launch with VIP customers, media and influencers supported by an integrated-media campaign targeting luxury, lifestyle and design media at the original store in Edinburgh.
RESULTS
The gift-set, available across the UK, sold out in weeks and second order was made to cope with demand. Coverage highlights included Independent, Marie Claire, GQ, Scotsman and Scottish Field for Father’s Day gift guides.
