Fyne at Forty

From humble beginnings on a wooden table at the head of Loch Fyne in Argyll, Loch Fyne Oysters has grown into a market-leading exporter with clients that include international hotel chains, Formula 1 events, airlines and Michelin-starred restaurants as well as its restaurant and deli on the shores of Loch Fyne. ‘Fyne at Forty’ was an event to celebrate four decades of success for the iconic seafood brand.

What we did

While Loch Fyne’s seafood is loved across the world we knew that not everyone had visited its iconic home on the banks of Loch Fyne. We utilised this anniversary to attract visitors to the site who either lived in Scotland or were visiting for the special anniversary celebrations. Importantly, this involved driving home brand messages about the history, provenance and quality of the company’s produce to media in Scotland and working with local and national tourism agencies.


Extensive coverage in major regional news titles and BBC Scotland coverage, with combined print, radio and online audiences exceeding 34m. This included a BBC Scotland broadcast on the morning of the event, a 4-page cover story in the Herald Magazine with listings and reviews across across top national and regional newspapers, news and tourism online sites. The weekend festivities were a huge success and were attended by hundreds young and old.
