SPEY Wins The Cabrach Trust Account
New whisky distillery and heritage centre appoints SPEY to deliver integrated PR, marketing, digital and web design services
We're extremely excited to be working on a new project that delves deep into the cultural history of North East Scotland.

The Cabrach is an vast area on the Moray/Aberdeenshire border that is widely considered to be the home of illicit distilling. The vast expanse of land and access to pure spring water meant that numerous whisky stills were set up in secret locations; no one truly knows how many there were and plenty remain undiscovered to this day.
The population of the Cabrach was dramatically reduced by World War One, with many residents sadly never returning home. In recent years the population has continued to fall and is now in double figures.
The Cabrach Trust has been set up as a social enterprise to reinvest into the area by building a world-class heritage centre to tell the fascinating history of the region, with the distillery being built to replicate the unique manner in which the whisky used to be made. Profits from the whisky will be put back into the community.
We can't wait to share the Cabrach story as part of a global integrated communications campaign, working closely with the Cabrach team on their audience acquisition and messaging across the board.
